The Historic Preservation Alliance of
Colorado Springs (HPA), a local nonprofit organization founded
in 1999 by citizens concerned about the preservation of Colorado
Springs’ unique and irreplaceable heritage – cultural, historical,
architectural, archaeological, and natural – a heritage that is
a local and a national treasure.
Our distinctive heritage contributes
to the City’s economy and to the residents’ and visitors’ quality
of life.
The HPA provides leadership, education
and advocacy to save our historic heritage and to revitalize our
neighborhoods.
Whether you are the owner of an historic
building or cultural landscape, or a citizen who appreciates and
wants to maintain our historic beauty, we invite you to become
a member of this network of citizens who care about Colorado Springs,
its past and its future.
