FIRST CHURCH OF CHRIST SCIENTIST TOUR:
First Church of Christ Scientist. Christian Science began in Colorado Springs in 1887 as a Bible class led by Thomas Benbow. As a unique twist, in 1892 Mrs. Ella Peck Sweet was its first and only pastor.

FIRST METHODIST CHURCH TOUR: This church is of late Victorian/Romanesque Revival style. Its Reuter Organ has 4720 pipes. The church contains two Tiffany stained-glass windows as well as a memorial window using the “Jewel Glass” process.

TOUR GUIDE: Gretchen Lloyd, retired speech language therapist, 23-year docent at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and long-time member of First Methodist Church.

HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE: Yes, except for a portion of Christ Scientist Church.
